The CXLB7387X series are highly integrated single cellwek嘉泰姆

Li-Ion/Polymer battery charger IC designed for handheldwek嘉泰姆

devices. The CXLB7387X integrates internal power FET,wek嘉泰姆

current sensor, charge status and reverse current protectionwek嘉泰姆

in a single monolithic devices.When AC-adapter is applied,wek嘉泰姆

an external resistor sets the magnitude of the chargewek嘉泰姆

current, which may be programmed up to 1A.wek嘉泰姆

The CXLB7387X charges the battery in three phases:wek嘉泰姆

conditioning, constant current, and constant voltage.wek嘉泰姆

Charge is terminated based on minimum current. Anwek嘉泰姆

internal charge timer provides a backup safety for chargewek嘉泰姆

termination. The CXLB7387X automatically re-starts thewek嘉泰姆

charge if the battery voltage falls below an internalwek嘉泰姆

threshold. The CXLB7387X also automatically enters sleepwek嘉泰姆

mode when DC supplies are removed. No external sensewek嘉泰姆

resistor or blocking diode is required for charging.wek嘉泰姆
