The APL5331 linear regulator is designed to provide aXFj嘉泰姆

regulated voltage with bi-directional output current forXFj嘉泰姆

DDR-SDRAM termination voltage. The APL5331 inte-XFj嘉泰姆

grates two power transistors to source or sink currentXFj嘉泰姆

up to 3A. It also incorporates current-limit, thermal shut-XFj嘉泰姆

down and shutdown control functions into a single chip.XFj嘉泰姆

The current-limit circuit limits the short-circuit current.XFj嘉泰姆

The on-chip thermal shutdown provides protectionXFj嘉泰姆

against any combination of overload that would createXFj嘉泰姆

excessive junction temperature. The output voltage ofXFj嘉泰姆

APL5331 tracks the voltage at VREF pin. A resistor di-XFj嘉泰姆

vider connected to VIN, GND and VREF pins is used toXFj嘉泰姆

provide a half voltage of VIN to VREF pin. In addition, anXFj嘉泰姆

external ceramic capacitor and an open-drain tran-XFj嘉泰姆
