   The CXLE8292 is a continuous mode inductive step-down converter, designed haL嘉泰姆

for driving single or multiple series connected LEDs efficiently from a voltage haL嘉泰姆

source higher than the LED voltage. The CXLE8292 device operates from an inputhaL嘉泰姆

supply between 6V and 40V and provides an externally adjustable output currenthaL嘉泰姆

of up to 1A. Depending upon supply voltage and external components, this can haL嘉泰姆

provide up to 30 watts of output power.The 1 includes the output switch and a haL嘉泰姆

high-side output current sensing circuit, which uses an external resistor to haL嘉泰姆

set the nominal average output current.Output current can be adjusted below haL嘉泰姆

the set value, by applying an external control signal to the VSET pin. The haL嘉泰姆

VSET pin will accept either a DC voltage or a PWM waveform.The soft-start timehaL嘉泰姆

can be increased using an external capacitor from the VSET pin to ground.ApplyinghaL嘉泰姆

a voltage of 0.2V or lower to the VSET pin turns the output off and switches the haL嘉泰姆

device into a low current standby state.haL嘉泰姆
