The PT1 311 is a high ly efficien t fix frequency synchronous step - up DC/DC converter. Output voltage of the device is adjustable . P ower dissipation during operation is only 40 μA typical and drops to less than 1μA in shutdown. The 0.85 V to 5 V inp ut voltage range makes the PT1 311 ideally suit able f or single cell Li - i on battery , single or dual AA battery voltage step - up application s. Automatic PFM Mode operation increases efficiency a t light loads, further extend battery life. Switching frequ ency is internally set at 1. 2 MHz, design for use of small value surface mount inductor , input and output capacitors. The inter nal synchronous switch es enhance efficiency. Anti - ringing contro l circuitry reduces EMI by damping the inductance effect in DCM mo de. The PT1 311 is available in SOT 23 - 6 package .
