一.产品概述rUE嘉泰姆

    The CXTB2508 is a highly integrated, programmable burst mode laser driver rUE嘉泰姆

and limiting amplifier intended for ONU/ONT applications up to 2.5 Gbps. UsingrUE嘉泰姆

LVDS/PECL/CML differential burst and data inputs. The CXTB2508 laser driver hasrUE嘉泰姆

burst enable/disable times of less than 3.3 ns and will automatically maintain rUE嘉泰姆

the desired extinction ratio. The laser bias and modulation currents can rUE嘉泰姆

independently be controlled in one of 3 ways - (1) dual closed loop control where rUE嘉泰姆

the monitor photodiode dynamic response is held to target values, (2) single closed rUE嘉泰姆

loop control where the average monitor photodiode output is held to a target value rUE嘉泰姆

or (3) open loop control where the bias and/or modulation current are controlled rUE嘉泰姆

by a temperature based look-up table. In the closed loop cases, the bias and rUE嘉泰姆

modulation current value for the first burst may also use the internal temperature rUE嘉泰姆

sensor and external look-up table. The CXTB2508 limiting amplifier inputs have a rUE嘉泰姆

selectable bandwidth and selectable output swing. The input sensitivity is better rUE嘉泰姆

than 4mV at 1.25Gbps and 5mV at 2.5Gbps.The limiting amplifier features a rUE嘉泰姆

programmable signal level detector with a typical 2dB of optical hysteresis and an rUE嘉泰姆

internally programmed JAM function which can be used to squelch chatter on the rUE嘉泰姆

outputs when no signal is present. If the limiting amplifier is not needed, it may rUE嘉泰姆
