General DescriptionGWe嘉泰姆

The APW7000 is a high efficiency charge pump whiteGWe嘉泰姆

LED driver; the device drives up to four white LEDs withGWe嘉泰姆

regulated constant current for uniform intensity. The sup-GWe嘉泰姆

ply voltage ranges from 2.7V to 5.5V and it is optimized forGWe嘉泰姆

a Li-ion battery application. The APW7000 operates in 1x,GWe嘉泰姆

1.5x, and 2x charge pump modes and automaticallyGWe嘉泰姆

switches the charge pump modes depend on the inputGWe嘉泰姆

voltage to maintain the required power for high powerGWe嘉泰姆

efficiency. The APW7000 provides up to 30mA per LED,GWe嘉泰姆

for a total of 120mA and allows several methods such asGWe嘉泰姆

a PWM signal on the CTRL0 pin for LED dimming. ThreeGWe嘉泰姆

control logic pins allow to disable or enable a combina-GWe嘉泰姆

tion of LEDs. The supply current is only 2mA in 2x mode,GWe嘉泰姆

and the EN pin allows the device to enter shutdown modeGWe嘉泰姆

with 2µA quiescent current. The APW7000 switches atGWe嘉泰姆

1MHz frequency and only requires four 1µF ceramic ca-GWe嘉泰姆

pacitors and one resistor, and ensures low input currentGWe嘉泰姆

ripple and EMI.GWe嘉泰姆

The APW7000 is available in a 16-pin QFN package.GWe嘉泰姆
